The Chronicle of Higher Ed has a helpful post on job interview techniques. And here’s one tip that I received when going on the job market: if you’re interviewing at CAA in a hotel room, which is where many take place, choose good (or at least matching) socks. As if the format isn’t odd enough, it seems that wherever you’re seated people will be able to see them.
